Jaty Edwards was born and bred in Irving, Texas. A proficient guitarist, Jaty was trained in classical spanish guitar from the age of 4 years old. Jaty grew up watching his mom’s cousins play country music at the country club in Garland, Texas, and attending rodeos with his grandparents. All he ever wanted was to be a cowboy, and with a guitar in hand, that’s what he set out to do. Jaty was raised on the sounds of Allen Jackson, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Texas Legends such as Waylon, Willie, and George Strait. A country boy, through and through, the Edwards family relocated to Ohio when Jaty was a Junior in High School, but they never lost their Texas roots. After attending college at The Ohio State University, Jaty started to get back in touch with his love for country music. He made a name for himself in the central Ohio circuit; winning a Columbus Songwriters Association songwriting contest, before relocating to Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife, Ashley. His main focus now is playing weekly gigs and continuing to write songs.
